EasyHackStoraLiveCd

NOTE: This is an ongoing project not yet finished. BEWARE at the moment it is not useful at all

We can develop a LiveCd with all the tools need to reflash the Stora with an alternative firmware.

What we need onthe LiveCd?

-An Nfs server with rootfs with all the need tools. -A TFP server with kernel images. -Ssh -tcpdump. -Custom network config (Ip 10.0.0.1).

How to create LiveCd?

We will use, live helper.

On a Debian Lenny we use

apt-get install live-helper

Tocreate our livecd we use:

1. lh_config --packages "ssh nfs-kernel-server tcpdump"
2. lh_bootstrap
3. lh_chroot
4. lh_chroot_hosts install
5. lh_chroot_resolv install
6. lh_chroot_proc install

Then we have the rootfs system that we can modify and adapt to our necessities.

Let's enter on chrooted filesystem

1. chroot .

Here we copy the contents of nfs server, configure the network, the tftp server, we add helper scripts, etc..
